Just made this Calendar in my Stamp Camp on Tuesday. So much fun to make, we all had a blast. Make sure when you cut the papers to cut all the squares 2x2 it makes it easier. You will use the scallop square a lot and the label punch. I made some changes to the one in the Mini Catalog, We used lots of "diamonds" as you can see. I also used the 1" square punch and the scallop circle punch. Love the Alphabet/numbers set. I know it is $75 but it is so worth it.

Stitched Stockings set and punch from page 34 in the Holiday Mini Catalog, here used with white glimmer paper from page 41 Holiday Mini Catalog.

This is such a fun card to make. Fold a 8 1/2 x 4 1/4 at 2" and 6" and you will have this fun card or giftcard holder. For the "bow" you use 2 oval punches, first cut the small then the large. The stamp set is the Snow Much Fun page 35 in the big Catalog.

The "Sounding Joy" from page 23 in the Holiday Mini. Here first stamped in Cherry Cobbler then embossed in Gold on top. The ruffle and the bow is made with Seambinding Ribbon, Cherry Cobbler.

This "Greeting Card Kids" is still one of my favorite stamp sets. (page 34 in the big Catalog). Tear a 2 1/2 x 4 1/4 white cardstock and add glitter. The snowflake is cut with the Lace tripple punch out of white glimmer paper.

This box is made from 2 cuts of the Milk Carton Die. You cut one side off on each and you have 6 sides. Just glue them together and punch 6 holes for the ribbon. So much fun to make these boxes. It makes the milkcarton so much more versatile.

We had our meeting last Saturday at Beths house in Placentia. We had a wonderful time with lots of stamping, we did 6 make and takes and had fun demonstration of felt flowers by Sue Reynolds and punch art by Katy Simetca. Thank you both.

Sorry it has been a while since I posted on my blog. I guess you can say I have been busy. We took a trip to Denmark to visit family and friends in April and we had a lot of fun.

I had one of my monthly stamp camps last week and these are the cards they made. I have stamp camps at my house every month. The next one is May 17 with projects from stamps and accessories from the new Summer Mini Catalog. Let me know if you would like to come. Only $10 class fee.

This was another of my stamp camp cards. I got this card as a trade last Convention and had been wanting to make it, and my customers wanted to make it too, so...... I finally gave it a try and it worked. You need to use the butterfly punch (yes!!!!) and punch 2 butterflies per pansy. I used shimmery white cardstock and watercolored each punch with Daffodil and Pumpkin Pie ink. I used Eggplant for the center. Curl the "petals" with your bonefolder. So much fun to make and try it in different colors. I used the Two Tags Die for the Eggplant strip of paper.

Going back to the fun paper flower technique. Here I used both sizes of scalloped circles, 3 layers of paper per flower. You can either wet the paper or put it through the paper crimper to break the fibers in the paper.

This was the Mothers Day card we made at my camp. The flower is made of very thin pink and green fabric, there are 14 layers from the Fun Flower Big L Die (4 of each flower and then 2 green for leaves). Use your embossing tool to "melt" the layers of fabric, so much fun. I put a pin on the back, that way it is a pretty pin to wear.

One of the cards we did at my camp last week. The shadow technique is fun, just stamp the image in Sahara Sand first and then in Espresso over, you will for sure not hit it exactly, so it will look like a shadow.

This card is made with the Wallpaper Embossing folder and the scallop square Die, when you set the folded cardstock right before the cutting edge you will get a double card like this. I am loving the Baby Blossum more and more every day I work with it. It is delicate and just beautiful, specially with the pretty frame that comes in the set. I used Pink Pirouette, Concorte Crush and Old Olive colors for this card.

Sorry it has been so long since I posted. The Holidays were very busy for our family and I truly enjoyed every moment with them. I had my first stamp camp last Tuesday and it was so much fun to start stamping with all the new fun stuff from the new Spring Mini Catalog. I love so much in that catalog. I have scheduled all my stamp camps up till July this year. I have them at my house in Corona. These are the next 2 months:

Well, this is my favorite. The new Cupcake stamp set and the matching punch. Everybody loves this set. You can either use colored cardstock for the frosting part or you can stamp on white cardstock with 3 different colors. Make sure you stamp the greeting before running it through the Big Shot and the Polkadot embossing folder. Colors: Pear Pizass, Pink Pirouette, Daffodil and Expresso.

We had a fun craft night at my church last Friday and everybody that attended my class made
3 flowers using the BIG Flower Die. This flower is in Eggplant, a very trendy color this year.
At my next Stamp Camp on November 19, a Friday night, we will be making this flower which is the largest of the flowers on the DIE. There are 12 layers of fabric. Flowers like these are in the stores, but not as pretty. They make great presents for Christmas for a friend or co-worker.

I am going to a wedding next Saturday and this is the card I made for the cute couple. The card is 5x7 and the white card is the regular size embossed with the Wallpaper folder. The flowers are made with the extra large scalloped circle punch and the regular circle punch, 3 layers and I used the crimper 2 times for each layer.

This little Gift card holder will come handy this Christmas. You can use any stamp on the front of the holder, here I used the Dasher single stamp and my favorite new color, Cherry Cobbler. The mini flowers are made with the Boho Blossum punch, simply punch 3 for each flower, crumble them into a ball and unfold, add a brad.

The ruffle is made with Sateen Vanilla ribbon. Just simply add a strip of Sticky Strip and then form the ruffle onto the sticky strip, very easy. The background is the Northern Flurry embossing folder also from the Holiday Mini Catalog.

I love that alphabet die set and I have had so much use of it.

I designed this bag at 2am Saturday morning before our meeting. That is the best time for creativity. I love the paper flowers and these ones are made with the new Jumbo scalloped circle punch. Punch 4 and run them through the corrugater 2 times, that "brakes" the fibers in the cardstock and makes it so easy to "fold" them into the flower. On the pink flower I used one of the new vintage button brads - they are so pretty. The colors are Concord Crush, Eggplant Envy and Pink Pirourette. The stamp set is called "Life is Beautiful".

Here I used the same layout as my Mothers Day card earlier this year, now just with the new Concord Crush In Color. I used the Movers and Shapers Die for the card. The flower is made of sheer fabric cut into circles with the Circle Die. I used 12 layers and then just "melted" the edges with my heat tool. The circles are 3 different sizes - 4 of each size. Notice the new Vintage Wallpaper Embossing folder - very pretty.

This card was very fun to make. I used Lee's idea with the vellum cardstock over Razzleberry cardstock for the butterflies. They are cut with the Butterfly Diecut (love that one)and then just tied together with cord. I was sad to see the polkadot ribbon go, but I guess that is the same story every year - some leave some new ones come.

This card is cased from Lee Conrad. Love this card. Just made a few changes. The butterflies are cut with the Butterfly Die in vellum cardstock and then embossed in white. Tonight I just played around with my new favorite set "Element of Style" from the new mini. It is beautiful. I also played with the new "Smooch Spritzers here in Vanilla Shimmer and below in Chocolate Chip.

Here I used the Basket and Blooms die and only cut the front and back with the die. The inside of the box is home made. Fun to make. I used the Daisy die and cut 2 of each flower. The center of the flower is made by covering the large brads with cardstock that you wet and then just wrap it around.

Also from my Big Shot class, I got the idea from Gretchen Baron, thanks for sharing. It is the faux denim technique and you need the Box no. 2 die for the inside of the clutch. We also used the Top Note die for the front and flap of the purse. So much fun to make this little cutie.

Here I used the Elements of Style, my new favorite stamp set from the new Summer Mini Catalog. I stamped it on Pale Plum and used the Oval Die as a frame. The background is Elegant Eggplant.

On this card I painted the flower with Vanilla shimmery paint from the Holiday Mini catalog. The rest is pretty easy to figure out. The stamp set is the "Charming" set on page 32 - item no 116519 and still available to purchase. A beautiful set.

I am in love with flowers on cards. This one is made with sheer fabric cut with the Circles #2 Die, 4 of each size (except the tiny one), put a brad in the middle and then heat it with the embossing gun till it starts curling. So much fun to make. We learned how to make these at Leadership and Rachel did a demo at our last meeting. Be careful not to overheat. Play with it, the more you make the better you get at it.

This stroller card is great for baby shower invitations or congratulation cards. Made with the Big Circle Die.

On this card I used one of my favorite stamp sets: Crazy for Cupcakes on page 68, lots of glitter, Vanilla Hodgepods, Satin Ribbon from the Mini Catalog, and the amazing Polka Dot Embossing Folder also from the Mini.

Here I used the stencil from the mini catalog with the Versamark pad and then embossed it with clear embossing powder and sponged it with Close to Cocoa ink pad. This is a fun technique and no matter what size the stencil is it will work on cards too.

Krista demonstrated stencils and it was beautiful stuff. We were so excited to learn this fun technique.

Cheri demonstrated paper flowers in all possible ways. We even got to make a flower at her station. So many cute ideas.

Kallien demonstrated tote bags made with the BIG Shot scalloped die. We saw small bags and large bags in pretty fabrics. Great job Kallien.

Last but not least Rachel demonstrated fabric flowers and foam flowers put on flip flops, so much fun. She heated the sheer fabric into these cute little flowers. Something we learned at Leadership. I already went home and made some.

Milk Carton with holder

I just love the Milk Carton DIE it is just the cutest thing ever. I made the holder from the Box #2 die just adjusted it a little bit. That was pretty simple, you can do it too. I stamped the milk cartons with my favorite stamp set "Vintage Vogue" from the current mini catalog. That is also one of Shelli's favorite sets. At Leadership Shelli showed us a heart box made with the On Board Books as lid and bottom of box and then she made the sides of the box with just a strip of card stock. One day I was cruising the new Stampin' Connection and found a box made by Wendy Knowles, she was my inspiration for this box. I just changed it a little bit with the Paper Flower for my decoration. These flowers are soooo cute and sooooo easy to make. Just punch 5 scalloped circles and layer them on top of each other and then cut about 1/2 inch into each scallop. Then add a brad in the middle and simply crumble the "petals" up and in - the more the better. It is easier if you wet a full sheet of card stock, crumble it to a ball and then flatten it and let it dry. Now punch the scalloped circles.

Remember all the "Window" cards we made with the square punch - with squares punched out in the front, I have done a lot of those. This card is kind of the same just with the Heart Punch. In the middle I folded 5 hearts into this pretty "heart-flower". The Love You is from the "Well Scripted" stamp set from the mini catalog - love it.

These little cards are so popular and easy to make with the Top Note Die, you just have to cut the white card down to fit on the red card - easy enough. I love the Embosslit Heart Die and here I doubled it for a bigger effect. I used the flower and pearl from the Pretties Kit. The embossing Folder is the Elegant Bouquet.

Another card from my camp. I fell in love with this new stamp set, it is not in the catalog or the mini catalog. It is a limited time addition to our collection. I used the new Polkadot Embossing Folder from the mini catalog.

I had my Stamp Camp last weekend and this is one of the cards they made. The stamp set is from the new Mini Catalog on page 9 "Garden from the Heart", it is a beautiful stamp set. I cut the card with the Large Scallop Die and the clear round Die, they go perfectly together. The color is Rich Razzleberry both paper and ribbon. Designer Paper is Cottage Wall - perfect for this stamp set.

Sheer Pink Flower pin

This is my favorite flower so far. It is made with the Flower Die and different pink sheers, all glued together with Hot Glue Gun. You can also sew it together, but the glue is easy. There are about 12 layers of flowers, 3 sizes.

Big Shot and fabric

I have been playing with fabric and the Flower Die. I was inspired by Janet Baker, Jill Olsen and Susans demonstration at Leadership. They did a fabulous job and I went home and tried it out. I used Basting spray to layer fabric with Warm and Fuzzy and then I cut the flowers and sewed them, pretty easy.

My first Stamp Camp in 2010 is coming up January 29 at 7pm at my house in Corona. At first I did not plan to have one in January, but after talking to some of my customers that really wanted to do some Valentine projects I decided to schedule one on the 29th. You will be making some of the projects below among other Valentine cards.

Let me know if you would like to come to this fun event.
Cost $20 with a minimum $30 order. Food and drinks will be served.

From now on I will have one stamp camp a month and I will alternate between Friday and Saturday. January will be Friday night and February will be Saturday at 10am and so on.

Home from Leadership and back to stamping

Well home from Leadership and Christmas way behind me I am ready to get back into stamping again. Just had to take a little time off to take care of family, job and Christmas. Leadership was wonderful, I shared a room with Kathy Thorn and her mom and we stamped till 2 every night. We learned a lot and got a ton of new ideas. Stay tuned for new post from me every week.

This little card is one of my favorite cards I made to swap. I used the new Sizzlit Heart die from the mini and the full heart punch. Again I used the new Designer Papers with glitter. You just have to have that paper and the ribbon. I also used the new Punch that is free during Sale-a-bration with a $50 order. Let me know if you have any questions about Sale-a-bration. Is this the cutest thing you have seen or what. Totally love the new Designer Papers on page 13 in the mini catalog and the best thing is the glitter is already on the paper ..... so pretty. I used the full heart punch and punched 5 hearts, 3 pretty in Pink and 2 of the Designer Paper. Then I glued them all together, like we did with the Ornament Punch. The new Satin ribbon on page 27 in the mini is easy to tie bows with. Hope you enjoy this little thing (3x3).

Another of my swaps for Leadership. I made this one in my hotel room one evening. I love this new set from the Mini catalog. It is on page 26 and is called "Vintage Vogue", the jumbo roller is on page 27. I made it monogramatic with Basic Gray ink and black cardstock and ribbon. I sponged it all over. This set is one of Shelli's favorite sets.

This coming Friday the 20 and Saturday the 21 I have my very special Christmas Stamp Camp at my house in Corona. You are invited to attend this fun event and bring a friend. You will be making lots gift ideas like the the card holder above with 2 cards and envelopes inside, a decorated tin with goodies inside, gift card holder, beautiful snowflake box, Notepad, small wall hanging, gift tags etc. etc. Lots of fun stuff you definately will want to make. Mini brag book or notebook

This project is from my last Stamp Camp. One of my favorite dies 'The scalloped square" can be used so many ways. You can hardly see it, but the book is hold together with a key ring and I tied lots of ribbons on that. I used the very versatile set " For all you Do" on page 118. The colors are Rich Razzleberry, Elegant Eggplant and Old Olive. On the front is an "On Board" scallop circle painted white. I got this idea from Kathy Thorn.
